The Subway – Zion National Park

‘The Subway’ is the most popular back-country hike in Zion National Park, Utah, USA. It is one of the most diverse and beautiful canyons.

Approximate distance of 9.5 miles, few short rappels and a couple of short, mandatory swims add spice to the adventure.

This is a technical canyon where rappelling and down-climbing skills are required, but these obstacles can be avoided by hiking from the bottom into the Subway.
